These sandwhiches have worked their way into our rotation for dinner! My husband is a huge buffalo chicken fan so I knew they would be a hit.  These are SO easy to make.  Throw some chicken in a crock pot, let it cook on low all day and when you are ready for dinner, it will just fall apart! I topped these with green onion, cilantro, and ranch but you can easily do blue cheese, if that’s your thing.  I did find some good brioche buns at Aldi’s and I broiled them in the oven, but that is optional!  I’ve made these with 2 large chicken breasts and it served about 5-6.  Recently, I made them with 6 chicken breasts and I had to freeze some cause it could feed an army.  If you are a buffalo chicken fan, make these, you won’t be disappointed!

 

 

 

 

 

Buffalo Chicken Sandwhiches

 

  • 2-3 Chicken Breasts
  • Hamburger buns
  • 1 large bottle of hot sauce
  • 2 Tbsp Butter
  • Dash of garlic powder
  • 1 bunch of cilantro
  • Green onion
  • Ranch or blue cheese

 

Place the chicken in the crock pot.  Add the butter, garlic powder, and hot sauce.  I use just enough hot sauce to cover the chicken.  You can always add more once everything is shredded.  Turn crock pot on low let cook 6-8 hours.  You can put crock pot on high but let cook for a minimum of 4 hours.  Once done cooking, shred the chicken and add more hot sauce.  Add all the toppings to your sandwich and enjoy!
