How does your garden grow?
We decided to plant some herbs so we can use them for cooking and in our drinks this summer! I am such a rookie when it comes to this, I don’t have my mom’s green thumb, (maybe one day!) Natalie has done this before, so she was willing to help me out! We were trying to beat the rain drops so this was a quick little project, but none the less, it was fun. Cam was so willing to help and dig when needed! (little cutie pie!) We planted everything between mint, oregano, basil, parsley, and a few others! This is so simple, even me as a fresh herb newbie can do it! Pick out whatever herbs you would like to grow and/or use. Grab a few pots, take note- the basil will grow very large so you might want to start that off in its own large pot. Use some planting dirt and I did also buy some organic herb and vegetable food to help the herbs grow. We followed the instructions on the bags. I am so excited to report that we do have some herbs growing! I think the mint and rosemary are growing! The mint will be great in some drinks this summer and the rosemary will taste amazing on some chicken! I’m thinking this will become a yearly tradition. Thank you Natalie & Cam for helping me plant my herbs! Stay tuned for recipes with our fresh herbs!
